"Live in a hilly city and my daily commute involves 5k ride that is almost entirely uphill (150m elevation gain). Ride now takes about 10 min and I arrive without needing to take a shower! Inspiring me to get the bike out instead of the car. It would be a 5/5 if it weren’t for a little bit of gear slipping in the mid gears. Still trying to figure out how to set this using the online support videos."

"I live in a very hilly area. I got this bike because mid-drive bikes are supposed to be good on hills, the teal colour is very nice, and I'm happy to support a Canadian company. It chews up hills without me breaking a sweat. I zip-tied a basket onto the back, and now I can haul an entire load of groceries home with ease. This bike has unlocked a whole new range of activities for me in my community, and for that I'm very grateful. I receive plenty of compliments from people around town on how nice-looking of a bike it is (and they're right!) It does have a few quirks that knock it from 5 stars down to 4. It's a bit tricky to assemble, even when enlisting the assistance of my husband, who's adept at maintaining his own bike. The fenders were difficult to align properly to ensure they wouldn't rub against the tires. The chain skips on certain gears, and was prone to falling off. The chain falling off issue was rectified after taking it into a bike shop to have the derailleurs aligned properly, but the skipping issue still persists, suggesting it might an out of the box issue with the motor. The battery life indicator is also unreliable when going uphill at lower than ~50% life remaining. This has led to the motor cutting out on a steep incline (uh oh), but then being totally fine when it's back on level ground. Nothing deal-breaking, but definitely annoyances to be mindful of."
"Took it to Saltspring Island the other day, performed very well. Only needed "Pedal Assist Level 1" the whole time and lots of battery left after riding about 75 kms. A lot heavier than a normal bike, but once you get used to handling the extra weight there is no problem. Overall very satisfied."

"My wife has done some rides and she is very pleased with the ride comfort and functionality of it so far. However, we are not happy about the rear red LED light not lighting up when applying either front or rear brakes. Even her less expensive Apollo scooter has this important safety feature. This bike is too expensive to not have this function built in."
