Note: The Key-Disp app is only compatible with the LCD V3 display.
Take your riding experience to the next level by syncing your smartphone with your e-bike’s Bluetooth display. The Key-Disp app allows you to monitor your bike’s health, track your stats, and even access turn-by-turn navigation directly on your screen.
Follow this guide to get set up and learn how to make the most of your smart display.
1. Getting Started: Download and Setup
First, download the Key-Disp app, available for both iOS and Android.
-
Download: App Store (iPhone) | Google Play (Android)
-
Create Your Account: Register with your email address and enter the verification code sent to your inbox.
-
Permissions: Allow the app to access Bluetooth and location services to ensure a stable connection with your display.
2. How to Sync Your Bike
Once your account is ready, follow these steps to pair your bike:
-
Power On: Turn on your e-bike display.
-
Add Device: In the app, tap the "Add Device" button. Ensure your phone’s Bluetooth is active.
-
Select Your Display: Look for a device name starting with "KD386" (or similar) in the list and select it.
-
Troubleshooting Connection: If the app fails to find the display or "times out," you may need to reset the Bluetooth on the bike. On your handlebar controls, hold the "i" and "–" buttons simultaneously for about 2 seconds to clear previous connections, then try searching again.
3. Monitoring Your Ride
The Home Screen acts as your digital cockpit, giving you a real-time overview of your journey:
-
Live Data: View your current speed, battery percentage, trip distance, and total odometer.
-
Quick Controls: Use the app to toggle your front light on/off or switch between metric (km) and imperial (miles) units.
-
Assist Management: You can adjust your pedal assist levels directly through the interface.
4. Vehicle Diagnostics
Keep your e-bike in peak condition with the built-in diagnostic tool. By selecting "Vehicle Info," the app runs a scan of the electrical system to check for:
-
Communication or sensor errors.
-
Brake and motor phase issues.
-
Current or voltage abnormalities (Overcurrent/Mosfet).
Checking this regularly ensures that any technical issues are identified before they affect your ride.
5. Smart Navigation (Optional)
For riders who love exploring new routes, the app offers a subscription-based navigation feature (approx. $6.00 USD/month).
-
How it works: Enter your destination in the app, and simplified turn-by-turn directions will be projected directly onto your e-bike’s Bluetooth display.
-
Benefit: This allows you to keep your phone safely in your pocket or bag while still knowing exactly where to turn.
