Good eBike
"My Rize eBike was purchased in 2020. Since then, I have ridden over 10,000 km on pavement in my hilly neighbourhood with no problems. The brake pads need to be replaced about every 1,500 km. The back tire was worn bald at about 7,500 km, but the front tire was still almost as good as new. I swapped them, and the bald one is still functioning well as a front tire. I took apart the hub motor and greased the planetary gears at about 7,500 km and found them to still be in perfect condition. After six years of use, the battery has not shown any significant degradation. I charge it to about 95% before going for a ride and try to avoid deep cycles. Usually, it's at about 50% at the end of the ride, which is the level I leave it at until charging again before the next ride. It's best to avoid storing the battery in hot or cold conditions, and if it is cold, let it warm up to room temperature before charging it."
