"Overall good value on the bike. Had to do some work on the bike when I got it, the belt was too tight and still have some work to do on the brakes as they are still making a lot of noise. The assist is good but seems no different between the 1,2, or 3 setting. Level 4 is good and 5 you do not really have to peddle. The throttle was already installed when I received the bike which was nice, and is handy for hills. The distance you can go on one charge is pretty good compared to other e assist bikes I have ridden, and the bike is light enough for me to carry up stairs."

Super light and zippy - perfect ebike for city commuting

"I had a Rad bike before this that weighed nearly 85lbs. Was great for lugging stuff around but my god was it heavy and hard to wrangle. I LOVE this Rize bike. It's light, fun to ride, and has just enough power to help me fly up hills in the city. Very glad I made the switch. Make sure you get the optional thumb throttle. It's essential IMO."

"I wanted a lightweight, simple bike to make my hilly commute a little easier. What I love about this e-bike is how lightweight and minimalist it is. No chain. No derailleur. And if I feel like I want a bit more of a workout I just drop the assist level down a notch or two. No extra unnecessary bells or whistles, and amazing value for $$$!!! I put a rack on the back for my panier bags and I’m all set :)"

Good Value

"I love my new Fixie bike. I was looking for a bike under 30lb but was not finding anything in a reasonable price range. So, I relaxed my requirement by 4lbs and I am glad I did. The bike exceeds my expectations. It rides well and needed information is shown on the display. There are only three things, I wish Rize had done differently - 1) wired the rear tail light so that it automatically comes on when front lights are turned on, instead of a manual switch and 2) they should include the throttle instead of leaving this as an option. I recognize that it is a "pedal assist bike" but a small $ 20 item (probably around $ 10 wholesale) will avoid having to dismantle the handle grips and also removing and re-installing the brake levers. If one does not remove the brake lever, either the grip is left hanging or the brake lever becomes distant and difficult to operate. 3) the handle bar should be labeled L (left) and R (right) to avoid reverse assembly of the handle bar. It can be done by adding a small round sticker on the handle bar. Overall, it is a good bike with excellent service and follow up."

Amazing!

"I absolutely LOVE my RIze Fixie. Sunny was an absolute no pressure professional who helped me view and test ride the bike. He was able to answer all my questions. The bike was delivered without a problem and I had it assembled quick and easy thanks to all the instructional videos. The bike is amazing! It is sleek and stylish, comfortable and an absolute thrill to ride. It is whisper quite and has virtually no upkeep to maintain it. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the tires that come with the bike; however, I did upgrade to two Schwalbe Marathon Plus tires to ensure ultimate puncture resistance. I use my Fixie to commute from Steveston to UBC and it has been an absolute game changer. What used to be a moderately difficult ride is now extremely fun and easy. I absolute love it. I ride with a smile on my face. Frankly I wish I bought this sooner. I did have a problem with my Fixie fenders cracking, but Sunny personally helped me fix the problem in a matter of days. Like I said earlier, unreal customer service. Definitely worth buying the thumb throttle too. It is very inexpensive and adds a lot of flexibility for extra power when you are not on level 5. Thank you so much Rize for my Fixie! I couldn't be happier! 10/10!"

The Fixie Battery is $499 while the Carbon Belt is $75.
I am 5’2” am I tall enough for this bike
You may be too short for the bike if you have an average inseam. If you are slightly taller between the 5'3-5'5 range, you may be able to fit the bike if you have a longer inseam. Visit our sizing chart on the product page to verify if this bike is suitable for you.
Are there options to add a panier rack on the rear?
There is no option from us to fit a rear rack on the Fixie. Though, you can always find alternatives online or ask on the Facebook Rize Owner's Group to see what other owners have done to fit one on their bike.
